Firstly, On the day of Gudi Padwa, people wake up early in the morning and after cleaning the house, retire from daily work, apply gram flour and oil paste on their body and cleanse and take bath. Immediately after sunrise, Gudi is worship; people decorate Gudi.

Secondly, The place where the Gudi places should be thoroughly clean. After that make the swastika mark first to make the place sacred by having an auspicious resolution of worship.

Thirdly, Make a garrison or sand altar by laying a clean white cloth in it, making an Ashtadal lotus with turmeric or saffron dyed on it, and installing Brahmaji’s gold on it.

After this, worship Ganesh Ambika and start the puja after reciting the mantras of Lord Brahmaji with gandha, akshata, flowers and water in hand.

How Gudi is decorate to celebrate

Gudi is a bamboo stick decorate with green or yellow cloth. This cloth joins to bamboo poles on the top. Apart from this, garlands, neem and mango leaves is also attach to it.
